Reimagining Philadelphia's Roosevelt Boulevard

Reimagining Philadelphia's Roosevelt Boulevard is a 50 page policy implementation project which highlights the opportunity to redesign Philadelphia’s Roosevelt Boulevard through transit development and land value capture.
The project contains an extensive literature review which examines academic articles and case studies regarding land value capture, highway redesign, mass transit expansion, and safeguards against gentrification. Quantitative data regarding local land values, traffic counts, demographics, and mass transit ridership is analyzed in depth to create design and policy recommendations which would transform the Roosevelt Boulevard into a more accessible and sustainable neighborhood thoroughfare.
